Cross Country Rolls Out 2021 Schedule

Coastal Carolina will host the Chanticleer Challenge on Oct. 1
CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina University's director of track & field and cross country Sandy Fowler, along with cross country coach Ben Yocum, are excited to announce the 2021 cross country schedule, highlighted by the Chanticleer Challenge to kick off the month of October.
The men's and women's cross country teams will open up the 2021 slate at the Covered Bridge Open hosted by Appalachian State in Boone, N.C., on Sept. 3.
Three weeks later, the Chanticleers will return to competition on Sept. 24 at the Royals XC Challenge hosted by Queens University in Charlotte, N.C., before hosting their lone home meet, the Chanticleer Challenge, on Oct. 1 at the General Hackler Golf Course.
Following a week off, CCU will head back to North Carolina for the ECU XC Invitational held by East Carolina in Greenville, N.C. on Oct. 16, the Chants' last tune-up before the Sun Belt Conference Championships.
The 2021 Sun Belt Conference Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships will take place in Foley, Ala., on Oct. 30.
The NCAA Southeast Regionals meet is slated to take place in Lexington, Ky., on Nov. 12, while the 2021 NCAA Championships are set for Nov. 20 in Tallahassee, Fla.
