Four Chanticleers Named WGCA All-America Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Coastal Carolina women's golf team had four student-athletes named 2021 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-America Scholars.
CCU was led by junior Tiffany Arafi who received the honor for the third time while senior Frantiska Lunackova, junior Caitlin Evans-Brand, and sophomore Heidrun Hlynsdottir were all second-time honorees.
The Chanticleers have had a total of 57 student-athletes receive the honor since 2004 led by the 2013 season when a team record of six student-athletes were named to the honor. In 2017, a total of five players were named WGCA All-America Scholars.
The WGCA All-America Scholars had a total of 1,432 women's collegiate golfers recognized with the prestigious honor. To be selected for the All-America Scholar Team, golfers must have a minimum GPA of 3.50.
