Women’s Tennis to Compete in Four Fall Events

Chanticleers will host the Lynn Stevens Invitational in September
CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina women's tennis head coach Catherine Hewitt has announced the 2021 fall schedule for the lady netters which includes four tournaments, as well as a two-day home event in mid-September.
"We are excited to get back to our normal fall schedule," commented Hewitt. "This schedule presents the opportunity for our ladies to play a lot of matches. Most of the tournaments are in close proximity to the Coastal area and we are hosting right out of the gate at the Delan and Lynn Stevens Tennis Complex."
Coastal will open the fall season with the Lynn Stevens Invitational on Sept. 17-18 at the Delan and Lynn Stevens Tennis Complex in Conway, S.C.
The Chanticleers will return to the hard courts three weeks later to compete at the Elon Fall Invitational hosted by Elon University on Oct. 8-9 at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
CCU will wrap up its fall slate with back-to-back tournaments at the end of October, as the Chants will participate in the ITA Carolina Regionals hosted by Wake Forest on Oct. 21-25 before returning to the Tar Heel State for the 49er Invite on Oct. 29-30 in Charlotte, N.C.
