Powers Tabs Fraboulet as Assistant Men’s Tennis Coach

Fraboulet comes to Coastal Carolina from AUM

CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina men's tennis head coach Chris Powers has announced the hiring of Liam Fraboulet as an assistant coach for the men's tennis program.

Fraboulet comes to CCU after serving as a graduate assistant coach at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) the last two years from 2019-21.

Fraboulet began his coaching career at AUM after a successful playing career at Western New Mexico University (WNM).

A native of Plouha, France, Fraboulet was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year in 2016 while also earning first-team all-conference honors that season.

After WNM switched affiliations to the Lone Star Conference, Fraboulet earned first-team all-conference honors in both singles and doubles play in 2018. He also received the Most Improved Senior Award in his final year with the Mustangs in 2018.

During his collegiate playing career, he ranked as high as No. 14 in the ITA National Singles rankings in NCAA Division II while also reaching as high as No. 36 in the ITA Doubles rankings.

Fraboulet also excelled academically, making the Dean's List on four occasions and the President's List four times as well. He was named to the Lone Star Conference All-Academic first team and was tabbed the Outstanding Student of the Year in marketing at WNM.
