ELON, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team picked up three wins on day two of the Elon Invitational, led by
Rivers Cahill, who went undefeated on the day.
- Rivers Cahill went 2-0, earning a 6-2, 6-2 straight-sets victory over UNCW's Alan Trbonja and defeating Campbell's Ethan Richardson 6-4, 6-1 in the singles E flight.
- Juan Cruz Collardin dropped a 6-1, 7-5 match to Virginia Tech's Victor Kimpel and fell in three sets 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-8) in the singles A consolation draw.
- Christopher Norlin battled in a 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (11-9) three-set loss to Elon's Rafael Ymer and later retired in his second match of the day.
- Jack Dixon fell 1-6, 6-3, 6-1 to UNCW's Alexander Snyder in the C singles flight semifinals, then dropped a 6-0, 6-2 match to Furman's Nicholas Snyder.
- Iannis Fernandes advanced to the D singles consolation semifinals with a 7-5, 7-5 win over Nicholas Fisk but was forced to withdraw from his semifinal match due to injury.
- Norlin and Fernandes are set to face VCU's Gevorg Mnatsakanyan and Patrik Petera in the C doubles draw final.
