CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team returns to the road for just its second away match of the season as the Chanticleers are set to face Wake Forest Thursday night in Winston Salem, N.C. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. ET from Spry Stadium.

The Chants suffered their first loss of the season, a 2-0 defeat to the visiting UNC Wilmington Seahawks on Sunday evening.
UNCW looked to strike early, as Audrey Harding's shot was saved by
Ky Hudson just five minutes into the match. Nearly five minutes later, the Seahawks' Madison Henry's shot was saved and Jordan Faveri was there to convert and put the visitors up 1-0. CCU looked to answer as
Lauren Denning fired off two back-to-back shots but was unable to find the back of the net.
Nearly five minutes following the halftime period, the Seahawks tallied their second goal of the night as Morgan Nanni connected on a pass from Faveri in the 54th minute. Following UNCW's goal, the Chants tallied three shots but each was saved by the Seahawks' keeper.
