CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team will open up the 2022 spring season against regional opponent and No. 10 nationally-ranked Wake Forest on Saturday, Jan. 15. The match is slated to start at 9 a.m. ET in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The Demon Deacons enter the weekend with a 2-0 record after they defeated Tennessee Tech twice on Jan. 9.

Chris Powers returns a lot of experience this spring with six Chanticleers having seen action during their time as a Chant in super seniors
Federico Garnier,
Diego Giraldo, and
Daiki Tanabe, as well as graduate student
Bastien Huon and senior
Neil O'Connor. Rounding out the experienced bunch is sophomore
Guilherme Toresan.
The Chants added even more experience to the lineup this year in graduate transfers
Steve Mundt and
Niccolo Rossi and welcome a highly touted upperclassmen to the lineup in junior
Carlos Berna Ruiz.
