NEW ORLEANS - Coastal Carolina University women's soccer goalie
Katelyn Kellogg, has been named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office Sunday afternoon.
The Louisville, Ky., native had an outstanding week in the goal for the Chants picking up 20 total saves in matches against South Alabama and ULM.
Against the Jaguars, Kellogg picked up 13 total saves which tied her for the second-most saves in a single match in program history. She then added seven more saves in a 1-0 shutout win over ULM to end the season.
Kellogg finished the season with 55 saves during her 11 matches in goal and had a 2.02 goals against average and a solid .724 save percentage.
