CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis will continue its 2022 fall season this weekend at the Spartan Fall Invitational hosted by UNC Greensboro on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 8-9, at the UNCG Tennis Courts in Greensboro, N.C.
The two-day event will include UNCG, Coastal, Elon, and N.C. Central.
The Chanticleers kicked off their 2022 fall season two weeks ago at the Coastal Carolina Battle of the Beach Hidden Duals, going a combined 23-10 overall against the College of Charleston, Wofford, and Campbell.
The duo of
Steve Mundt and
Carlos Berna Ruiz highlighted the Chants' opening weekend of play, as the pair went 3-0 in doubles play and each won two singles matches overall. Newcomers
Ryuya Ata and
Maj Tomac each came away with three doubles victories on the weekend, as did returners
Guilherme Toresan and
Neil O'Connor, while Ata, Tomac, and O'Connor also finished the three days of play with two wins in singles play overall.
