The inductees for Nov. 11, 2022:

Andrew Beckwith – Baseball (2012-17)

Named the 2016 NCAA College World Series Most Valuable Player and earning a spot on the 2016 College World Series All-Tournament Team, Beckwith was a key member of the 2016 National Championship team. He was tabbed a 2016 All-American, picking up first-team honors from HERO Sports, second-team accolades from Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball, and honorable mention recognition from Perfect Game. He won the 2016 Greg Olson Award for the "Breakout Player of the Year", was recognized by the 2016 Touchdown Club of Columbus as the National Male Athlete of the Year, and was named both the 2016 Big South's Howard Bagwell Male Athlete of the Year and the 2016 Big South Conference Pitcher of the Year.

A two-time All-Big South Conference selection, garnering first-team honors in 2016 and second-team accolades in 2017, the right-handed pitcher led the Big South Conference in 2016 in both wins (15) and ERA (1.85). His 15 wins are a CCU single-season record. He ranks second in CCU's career record books with a 1.91 walks per nine innings ratio, fourth with 102 appearances, and is tied for fifth with 32 career wins.

Drafted in the 32nd round by the Kansas City Royals in the 2017 MLB Draft, Beckwith was named to the 2010-19 Big South Conference Baseball All-Decade Team.

Alex Cunningham – Baseball (2012-17)

A member of the 2016 National Championship team, Cunningham was tabbed a 2017 Collegiate Baseball second-team All-American in his final year at CCU. A three-time All-Big South selection, earning first-team honors in 2017, second-team accolades in 2016, and honorable mention recognition in 2015, he was a three-time Big South Pitcher of the Week award winner in 2017. Cunningham was also twice named the Collegiate Baseball National Player of the Week and the NCBWA National Pitcher of the Week in 2017.

Cunningham recorded two complete-game shutouts in 2017 – tied for the most by a pitcher in CCU's single-season history – and led the team in wins with seven in 2017. He also led the team in strikeouts in both 2016 (98) and 2017 (117) and innings pitched in both 2016 (119.1) and 2017 (106.0). Overall, Cunningham ranks third in CCU's career record books in the lowest opponent batting average at .226, fifth in career strikeouts with 295, tied for seventh in most games started by a pitcher with 46, and eighth in most innings pitched with 315.0 innings. He was first drafted following his junior season in the 28th round by the Detroit Tigers in the 2016 MLB Draft but returned to Coastal for his senior year in which he was then selected in the ninth round by the San Diego Padres in the 2017 MLB Draft.

Dock Doyle – Baseball (2004-08)

A native of Conway, S.C., Doyle was a 2008 Collegiate Baseball and Ping! Baseball second-team All-American selection and one of three finalists for the 2008 Johnny Bench Award finalist. A 2007 NCAA Myrtle Beach Regional and 2008 NCAA Conway Regional All-Tournament team selection, Doyle was also named to the 2008 ABCA/Rawlings All-Region team. He was named the 2008 Big South Player of the Year and earned a spot on both the All-Big South first team and the 2008 Big South Championship All-Tournament team.

Doyle, who led the Big South in RBIs with 72 in 2008, was named a Ping! National Player of the Week and a two-time Big South Player of the Week (2008), as he led the team in hitting, hits, RBIs, and slugging percentage. Named to the 2000-09 Big South Baseball All-Decade team, Doyle was drafted first in the 44th round by the Atlanta Braves in the 2007 MLB Draft before being chosen in the fifth round by the New York Mets in the 2008 MLB Draft.

Taylor Motter – Baseball (2008-11)

Motter, who helped lead the Chanticleers to three consecutive NCAA Regionals in 2009, 2010, and 2011, was perhaps one of the best defensive shortstops in Coastal Carolina baseball program history. A 2009 Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American, Motter was named to both the 2010 NCAA Myrtle Beach Regional All-Tournament team and the 2010 All-Big South first team.
