CONWAY, S.C. – For the first time in three weeks, the Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will load up and hit the road, this time for a showdown in the Queen City against the Charlotte 49ers.
 
The Chants are 3-3 on the campaign, while the Niners don a 7-2 mark that features victories over a trio of Power 5 schools (Oregon, Boston College, and Virginia Tech).
 
The series between the two clubs began in 1988 and spans 25 meetings, which features 14 victories by the Chanticleers.
 
Freshman standout Anna Babayan has been playing well for CCU lately, having rattled off five straight wins in singles play to go along with four wins in a row in doubles.  Sophomore Jesse Hollins has also picked up three wins in succession in singles play.
