ATLANTA, Ga. – It was a quick turnaround for the Coastal Carolina women's tennis team, as the Chanticleers played their second Sun Belt match in less than 24 hours, this time against the Georgia State Panthers.  It was a back and forth contest, but the Panthers held on to win 4-2.
 
Georgia State struck first by claiming the doubles point with two wins in that portion of the match and built a 2-0 advantage early on during singles play.
 
Coastal Carolina struck back, as Jesse Hollins earned a 6-3, 6-1 straight-set victory over Ellie Aldrich on court six.  In the second flight, Mathilde Tranberg notched a 6-0, 7-6 win over Sofya Golubovskaya, which tied the match at two-all.
 
However, the Panthers tallied a pair of victories on courts one and five, respectively, to close out the contest.
 
Next up for the Chants (6-5, 1-1 SBC) is a home match on Wednesday, March 16, at 11 a.m. ET against James Madison.
