Three Chants Named to All-Sun Belt Teams

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Three members of the Coastal Carolina men's tennis team in Bastien Huon, Steve Mundt, and Carlos Berna Ruiz earned Sun Belt Conference honors, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon.
Huon earned All-Sun Belt first-team honors in singles play for the second straight season, while the tandem of Mundt and Ruiz received All-Sun Belt second-team accolades for doubles.
During his second season at Coastal Carolina, Huon was ranked as high as No. 116 nationally in singles play by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). He has tallied 11 wins so far this season for the Chants, all of which have occurred in the top flight. His 11 victories are tied for the most at the No. 1 position in the Sun Belt Conference this year.
Mundt and Ruiz have compiled a 6-2 record on the campaign, which includes five wins at the No. 3 position. Their 3-1 record in Sun Belt action puts them in fifth place for winning percentage in doubles play.
