De Samucewicz, Hollins Earn All-Sun Belt Recognition

NEW ORLEANS – Two members of the Coastal Carolina women's tennis team, Victoire De Samucewicz and Jesse Hollins, received Sun Belt Conference postseason honors, as announced by the conference office on Thursday morning.
De Samucewicz and Hollins earned All-Sun Belt first-team honors in doubles play, while De Samucewicz also picked up second-team accolades for singles.
The tandem of De Samucewicz and Hollins has led the way in doubles play for the Chants throughout the season, compiling a 13-2 overall record and 7-2 Sun Belt Conference record across the top two flights. The pair won their first seven matches as a team to start the season and played at the No. 1 position throughout the majority of the conference slate.
In singles action, De Samucewicz picked up second-team honors for the second consecutive season. This year, she has recorded a 10-6 record in singles play, with six of those wins occurring in the top flight. De Samucewicz also notched a victory against No. 87 Margaux Maquet of Charlotte in three sets 1-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-3) earlier this season.
