CONWAY, S.C. – On Sunday morning, the Coastal Carolina women's tennis team took to the court in their regular-season home finale for a Sun Belt Conference clash against the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns.  It was a great day for the Chants, as they claimed a 4-1 win over the Ragin' Cajuns.
 
The Chants began the contest with a pair of victories in doubles play, as Anna Babayan and Megan Hopton shut out Catarina Zheng and Angel Santiago 6-0 on court two.  Victoire De Samucewicz and Jesse Hollins cruised to a 6-0 win in the top flight over Carla Urchoeguia and Momoko Yoshimura, clinching the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead.
 
In singles action, Hollins pulled away for a 6-0, 6-2 triumph over Santiago on court five.  De Samucewicz followed that with a 6-2, 6-0 win in the top flight, staking Coastal Carolina to a 3-0 advantage at that juncture of the match.
 
Valentina Urelli faced off against AK Harvey on court six and claimed a 7-5, 4-6, 6-0 win, clinching the overall match victory for the Chanticleers.
 
Next up for Coastal Carolina (11-7, 6-2 SBC) will be a pair of road matches to close out the regular season, beginning with a contest at Troy on Saturday, April 9, at 11 a.m. ET.
