Crenshaw Finishes Tied for Fifth at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Invitational

Rising sophomore finished the tournament at four-under par
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Coastal Carolina University's Trey Crenshaw finished the Chattanooga Choo Choo Invitational tied for fifth after shooting a four-under 212 (69-69-74) at the three-round event held at the Council Fire Golf Club.
Crenshaw shot first and second rounds of three-under 69 before finishing the event with a two-over 74 in Wednesday's action. His 212 had him tied with Jake Hall (Tennessee), Henry May (Dayton), and Jackson Buchanan (Illinois). Beck Burnette of Lee University led all three days of the tournament finishing with a championship score of 12-under 204.
Crenshaw will begin his sophomore season as a member of the Chanticleers' golf program this fall, looking to build on his solid freshman campaign which saw him finish the season with a 75.78 scoring average. He was also named to the 2021 Fall and 2022 Spring President's List.
