NEW ORLEANS – Coastal Carolina women's golfer
Hannah Karg was named the Sun Belt Conference Women's Golfer of the Week the league office announced on Friday.
Just one week after picking up the individual title at The Southern, the Germany native finished tied for eighth at the Hurricane Invitational after carding a four-under 212 (69-69-74). She scored a team-best 11 birdies and added 34 pars on the way to her second top-10 finish of the fall.
Her birdie total was tied for the 15th most birdies in the event, while her 3.00 scoring on the par 3s was tied for the 11th best in the tournament, and her 4.67 scoring average on the par 5s was tied for the 10th best scoring average.
The Chants have completed the fall portion of its schedule and will be back on the links on Feb. 12-13 at the Sea Best Invitational at the San Jose Country Club in Jacksonville, Fla.
