Coastal Carolina to Play in the Jax College Baseball Classic

Chants to play Ohio State, Alabama, and NC State
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Coastal Carolina Chanticleer baseball team will play in the Jax College Baseball Classic, which is scheduled for Feb. 21-23 at 121 Financial Ballpark with Peak Events, LLC announcing the schedule on Monday, September 30.
Along with the Chanticleers, Alabama, NC State, and Ohio State will compete in the four-team round-robin tournament.
Coastal will play the second game of the day on Friday, Feb. 21 against Alabama at 6 p.m. ET. The Crimson Tide finished 33-24 last season and went to the Tallahassee Regional, where they fell to UCF and Stetson.
On Saturday, Feb. 22, the Chants will face Ohio State at noon. The Buckeyes went 29-26 in 2024 and saw their season end in the Big10 tournament, falling to Indiana and Nebraska.
On the final day, CCU will meet NC State at 2:30 p.m. ET. The Wolfpack went 38-23 last season and made it to the College World Series after advancing through the Raleigh Regional and Super Regional in Athens, Ga. NC State fell to Kentucky and Florida in Omaha.
Advanced tickets for the 2025 Jax Classic are available now at jaxcbc.com/tickets. Seats are sold as "day tickets," which include both games on that day. All reserved and general admission seating sections will increase by $5 on the day of games.
