CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina Athletics is bringing Chanticleer basketball to downtown Conway with the inaugural "Nightmare on Elm Street" event on Oct. 30 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
 
The event will include a basketball court constructed on Elm Street, autographs, a costume contest, multiple basketball contests, a performance from the dance team, Halloween festivities, and more.
 
Autographs and trick-or-treating will take place between 6:00-7:00 p.m., with basketball festivities lasting from approximately 7:10-8:00 p.m.
 
Fans can also enjoy the Mishoe Mobile Video Game Trailer, food trucks, Gemini Boutique, and other vendors.
 
Coastal Carolina is entering the first season of the Justin Gray Era in men's basketball, while CCU women's basketball is coming off an appearance in the second round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament under head coach Kevin Pederson.
