CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers head back on the road after a bye week to take on Troy this Saturday afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. ET. Will Kollmeyer, Ben Stanfield, and Junior Louissaint will have the call on ESPN+. BENNETT'S BEST
• Running back Braydon Bennett rushed for a career-high 132 yards against Louisiana, while catching a career-high five passes.

• Bennett has scored multiple touchdowns in three games this season and has tallied a rushing and receiving touchdown twice this year, doing so against Old Dominion and Louisiana.

LUBIN ON THE LOOSE
• Bandit Clev Lubin had his most productive day as a Chant to date against Louisiana, registering six tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, and two quarterback hurries.

• Lubin became the first Chanticleer defender to record 2.0 sacks in a game in 2024 and the first to do so since Will Whitson's 2.0 sacks against Texas State in 2023.
 
HENSLEY HITS ONE HUNDRED
• Kade Hensley became just the fifth kicker in Chanticleer history to make 100 extra points with three makes against Louisiana.

• Hensley is currently the most active kicker in Coastal history, converting 99.0 percent of his career extra point attempts. 

AIR STRIKES
• CCU's offensive currently ranks fifth nationally with 14.9 yards per completion.

• The Chanticleers have 26 completions of 20 yards or more this season.
 
WALLED OFF
• Coastal Carolina leads the Sun Belt and is tied for seventh nationally with six sacks allowed this season.

• CCU has also surrendered just 24 tackles for loss, tied for first in the conference and seventh in the country.
 
UP THE RANKS
• Bennett is currently eighth in program history with 18 career rushing touchdowns.

• Bennett has rushed for a touchdown in four of the five games he's played in this season. 
 
HALFTIME ADJUSTMENTS
• Coastal's defense has held its opponents to equal or fewer points in the second half in four of its last five games. 

• The Chants have allowed just 38 points in the third quarter all season.
 
SEIZE THE OPPORTUNITIES 
• Coastal Carolina owns a 4-0 record this season when tallying any points off turnovers.
 
• CCU has won eight consecutive games when scoring any points off turnovers. 
 
SCOUTING THE TROJANS OF TROY
• Troy is 1-7 and coming off a 34-31 loss to Arkansas State.

• Troy is one of only three teams in FBS that is perfect in the red zone, converting all 20 of its 20 trips into points.

• The Trojans lead the nation with 22.4 yards per punt return, tallying 157 yards and a touchdown on seven returns. 

• Wide receiver Devonte Ross leads the Sun Belt with 131.4 all-purpose yards per game.

• Ross is also the conference leader in receiving touchdowns with eight, good for sixth in the nation.

• The Trojans passed for 304 yards against Arkansas State, marking the first time Troy's aeiral attack has surpassed 300 yards in a game this season.

• Linebacker Brendan Jackson is tied for the SBC lead and tied for ninth nationally with 11.0 tackles for loss.

• Kicker Scott Taylor Renfroe has converted 9-of-10 field goals this season, tied for 13th in the country with a 90.0 percentage.
