CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University men's basketball program will be back on the road on Wednesday, Nov. 13, when they travel to Raleigh, N.C. to face North Carolina State in a 7 p.m. ET tip.
THE SERIES
This will be the fourth meeting between the two programs. NC State has won the three previous games. The first game was played in 1989 with all the games being played in Raleigh.
ABOUT THE CHANTS
CCU enters the game with a 1-1 record. After opening the season with a four-point victory (60-56) over Western Michigan, and fell on the road at East Carolina by four points (63-59).
Rasheed Jones is averaging 17.5 points per game and shooting 55 percent from the field after two games to open the season.
Denzel Hines picked up the team's first double-double of the season with a 10-point, 12-rebound effort at East Carolina.
Noah Amenhauser is averaging nine points per game and is shooting a team-best 88 percent from the field, while
Denzel Hines picked up the team's first double-double at East Carolina with 10 points and 12 rebounds. He is averaging eight points and a team-best seven rebounds per game.
ABOUT NORTH CAROLINA STATE
Coming off a Final Four appearance, the Wolfpack has started the 24-25 season with two consecutive wins. NC State has averaged
89.0 points per game in those first games with six players averaging in double figures.
Jayden Taylor's 13.5 points per game leads NCSU and Ben Middlebrooks is averaging 13.0 points per game. Other double-digit
scorers are Brandon Huntley-Hatfield (12.0), Marcus Hill (10.5), Michael O'Connell (10.0), and Brean Pass (10.0).
