NEW ORLEANS, LA. – The Sun Belt Conference announce today the end of season awards, with sophomore setter
Jalyn Stout tabbed to the All-Sun Bet first team. Stout was named Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week twice for her performances the previous week.
Stout tallied 361 kills, 536 assists, and 32 service aces to lead the Chanticleers offensive attack this season. The Gainesville, Fla., native set an NCAA record 18 triple-doubles and averaged a triple double with 363 digs aside from recording six double-doubles. On the year, Stout totaled 19 matches with double-digit kills including a season-high 22 in a five-set match with Texas State. The 5-10 setter had double-digit assists in 27 of the 28 matches.
Coastal Carolina will return to the court on Thursday, Nov. 21, with the first-ever meeting with Southern Miss in the first round of the Sun Belt Volleyball Championship tournament.
