GREENSBORO, N.C. ---- Coastal Carolina men's basketball defeated NC A&T, 73-68, Tuesday night inside the Ellis Corbett Sports Center. The Chanticleers' size and strength proved to be too much as they outscored the Aggies, 36-20, in the paint to secure the victory.
With the win the CCU improved to 6-5 while A&T moved to 3-9.
The Chants made their final five field goals of the contest to close out their second road win of the season. Coastal Carolina shot the ball well the final 20 minutes, shooting 11-for-22 from the field in the second half to go along with 13 made free throws.

Rasheed Jones led the way for Coastal with a combined 40 points on 15-of-23 shooting with 14 rebounds.
Denzel Hines posted 11 points and 10 rebounds to secure his second double-double of the year. CCU's bench provided a key lift in the game, outscoring A&T 13-2.
The Chanticleers led for more than 37 of the 40 minutes of action in Greensboro.
Coastal returns to action Dec. 21 when it opens Sun Belt Conference play against Arkansas State. Tip from Jonesboro is set for 3 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
