CONWAY, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team got back in the win column today with a shutout of UNC Greensboro, as part of a 7-0 win over the Spartans at the Stevens Tennis Complex. 

The Chants dominated the first two doubles matches, as seniors Guilherme Toresan and Maj Tomac and senior Ryuya Ata and freshman Eric Tripathi secured 6-1, 6-0 wins, respectively, giving Coastal the early 1-0 lead. No. 1 doubles pairing Carlos Berna Ruiz and Lucas Wayenburg completed the sweep of doubles play after outlasting UNCG's David Flisberg and John Gabelic 7-6. 

CCU continued their dominance in singles play, taking all six opening sets. Tomac, freshman Juan Cruz Collardin, who was subbed on in place of Berna Ruiz, and Wayenburg each claimed their singles victories after the second set. Ata, Toresan and Tripathi each saw their matches forced into the final set, with each ultimately securing decisive victories. 

Following the big win over the Spartans, Coastal will close out its four-match homestand with a meeting with College of Charleston on Sunday at the Stevens Tennis Complex, starting at 1 P.M. ET.
