BIRMINGHAM, ALA. - The Coastal Carolina women's indoor track and field team began postseason competition today with day one of the Sun Belt Conference Championships in Birmingham, Ala.
The Chants finished the day with 19 top-10 placements, featuring seniors Molly Jones and Meg Goebel, redshirt junior Ellie Wolski and freshman Ebba Hedberg each claiming second and recieving silver in their respective events.
Other notable finishes included junior Zayna Fray-Samuel finishing fifth in the women's weight throw, junior Amilia Wise-Sweat in sixth in the women's 800m and the DMR team finishing fourth in the women's DMR finals.
The Sun Belt Conference Championships continue tomorrow from Birmingham, Ala. at 11 A.M. ET, starting with the women's 60m heptathlon event.
