GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team picked up a vital 5-2 win on the road today against the UNC Greensboro Spartans at the UNCG Tennis Courts. 

The Chants snapped a three-game losing streak, previously dropping narrow decisions to College of Charleston, Charleston Southern and Campbell. Today, Anna Babayan and Jesse Hollins moved their doubles winning streak to five with a 6-3 win over the Spartans' Arina Babkova and Alexandra Dodashev. Seniors Kata Foldeak and Cecile Morin also added to their doubles win tally, defeating Juliana Craft and Lauren Thompson 6-3. 

After taking two of three in doubles play, the Chants continued their run in singles, winning four of six. Nicole Abel, Babayan, Foldeak and Morin all secured their singles point, as well as the match for Coastal. The latter each won their matchups in straight sets. Abel was forced into the third and decisive set by Babkova, but later outlasted the Spartan in a 10-7 tiebreaker. 

Following the win over the Spartans, Coastal will head to Wilmington, N.C. to face the UNC Wilmington Seahawks on Saturday, Mar. 2 at 10:30 A.M. ET.
