CONWAY, S.C. – The No. 18 nationally-ranked Coastal Carolina Chanticleers will face the USC Upstate Spartans for a pair of midweek games on Tuesday, March 5, and Wednesday, March 6. The first pitch for both games is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET.

ABOUT THE CHANTS
• Coastal Carolina enters the week 9-2 on the season and having won eight straight contests.
• The Chanticleers have scored 10 runs in five of their 11 games with a season-high 26 on Opening Day. CCU scored 12 runs in the second game of a three-game series versus the Liberty Flames.

ABOUT THE SPARTANS
• Upstate enters the week with a 6-5 overall record, having won two of three over Penn last weekend.
• The Spartans started the 2024 season by dropping three straight games to the Kentucky Wildcats on Opening Weekend.
• The USC Upstate pitching staff has given up 18 home runs and allowed opposing batters to hit just .239 at the plate.
• Upstate is hitting .310 with 28 home runs, five triples, and 22 doubles for 100 RBIs. Troy Hamilton and Jace Rinehart lead the team by hitting over .360 on the year.
ALL-TIME SERIES HISTORY WITH USC UPSTATE
• The Chanticleers and Spartans are even at 1-1 in the overall series with the first game taking place in March 1986. Both games were played in Conway, S.C.
• Coastal Carolina won the most recent outing, a 4-2 home win on March 11, 2009.
• Upstate won the very first meeting in Conway, S.C., 8-6, on March 29, 1986.
