Justin Gray has announced his first signee to the CCU roster for 2024-25.
Rasheed Jones: Marion, Ind. (Northwest Florida State College/Western Carolina)

He shot 45.3 percent from the field and hit 39.7 percent of his three-point attempts. Jones was also solid from the free throw line connecting on 75.3 percent of his charity tosses.
The 6'-6" guard also averaged almost three rebounds and 2.4 assists per outing while averaging over 32 minutes per game.
Jones originally signed with Western Carolina following his high school career at Marion High School, but sat out his freshman season as a redshirt.
Jones scored over 1,000 career points at MHS in only three seasons. As a senior he averaged 15.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 26 games. He was a two-time All-North Central Conference selection, and All-State Top 30 as well as an Indiana All-Star candidate.
Coach Gray on Jones: "I'm excited to have Rasheed Jones join Teal Nation. Rasheed is a smooth 6'-6" combo guard that can make plays both on and off the basketball. He will represent our program well in the areas of academics, basketball, and character. We are in the business of helping our student-athletes win both on and off the basketball court and Rasheed will do just that here at THE COAST!"
