CONWAY, S.C. – Friday's night's game between the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and Georgia State Panthers Friday night game was suspended due to a storm system moving through the Conway, S.C., area. The game will resume on Saturday, May 11, at 2 p.m. ET with Saturday's game moved to Sunday, May 12 as part of a doubleheader.
The game showcased the power by both teams as they combined for five home runs by the top of the third inning before the storm system moved in putting a halt to the action with the Chanticleers trailing 6-5.
Tickets for tonight's contest can be exchanged at the ticket office at Springs Brooks Stadium for tomorrow or Sunday. Tickets for Saturday's game will work for tomorrow's game and Sunday's ticket will work for both games.
Coastal will return to action on Saturday, May 12, at Springs Brooks Stadium with the first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and can be heard on WRNN 99.5 Hot Talk.
