Cross Country Announces 2024 Schedule

CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina director of track & field and cross country Sandy Fowler announced the upcoming 2024 men's and women's cross country schedules on Tuesday.

The season begins on Aug. 30 at the CSU Buccaneer Invitational at the CSU Cross Country Course in Charleston. Coastal Carolina's women are looking to repeat as event champions after winning the 2023 race. September features the lone home meet of the fall as Coastal hosts the Chanticleer Challenge on Sept. 13 at the Hackler Golf Course. Coastal's men and women each won the 2023 Chanticleer Challenge.
The Chants will travel to Greenville, N.C., to compete in the Pirate Invitational at Overton's Lake Kristi on Oct. 4. CCU will then head to the Appalachian State Invitational to conclude the regular season in Boone, N.C., on Oct. 18.Â

The Chanticleers will compete in the Sun Belt Championships on Nov. 1 in Foley, Ala. Coastal's women claimed two of the top three spot in the 2023 Sun Belt Championships with Molly Jones winning the individual crown.Â

The NCAA Southeast Regional will take place on Nov. 9 in Rock Hill, S.C.
