CONWAY, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team will hit the road for the first of three road contests starting at UNCW on Aug. 21. Kick off is set for 7 p.m. ET.

Chant Talk

• CCU has a 0-0-1 record on the season.
• The Chants are searching for their first road win under head coach Jo Chubb.
• CCU had 17 players see action last Thursday, nine of which notched their first cap in Teal and Bronze.
• Freshman Olivia Goretski scored her first collegiate goal in her career debut and the first-ever goal in the new CCU Soccer Complex.
• Transfer Stella Lawson tallied her first assist of the year in her career debut for the Chants.

Last time out

• The Chants battled to a 1-1 draw versus the Richmond Spiders in their season opener.
• Goretski scored the Chanticleers' first goal of the season off an assist from Lawson to put CCU up 1-0 in the 61st minute.
• Coastal looked to take a 2-0 lead when awarded a penalty in the 67th minute but couldn't capitalize on the opportunity to hold the score at 1-0.
• The Spiders answered back in the 75th minute when Brigitte Bussiere netted the equalizer on an assist from Emma Coleman.
• The Chants outshot Richmond 13-6 and led 5-3 in corner kicks.

• The Seahawks picked up a season-opening victory, defeating Charlotte 2-1.

• Three different Seahawks (Ayanna Parker, Taylor O'Brian, and Ayla Vaneus) have bagged a goal this season.
• Vaneus tops the team with three points, recording one goal and one assist this year.
