
Coastal Carolina Athletics Announces Football Gameday Enhancements for 2024

CONWAY, S.C. – In preparation for the return of Chanticleer football to Brooks Stadium this weekend, Coastal Carolina Athletics has announced its comprehensive list of gameday improvements and enhancements for the 2024 season.
"As we kick off this exciting new season at Brooks Stadium, we are thrilled to unveil a series of new game day additions and experiences that will elevate the atmosphere for all Chants," said Chance Miller, Coastal Carolina's Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics and University Recreation. "But this is just the beginning. We're committed to continuously enhancing the fan experience, with more exciting changes planned throughout the season and in the years to come. We encourage everyone to come early, stay late, and help us pack Brooks Stadium as we create unforgettable memories together. Teal Nation's support is the driving force behind our success—let's make this season one for the history books!"
Below is the full list of areas for fans to familiarize themselves with prior to gameday.
Gameday
- Coastal's pregame entrance will feature new videos, songs, pyrotechnics, a CCU celebrity starter to kick off the pregame activities, and a motorcycle brigade. Fans are encouraged to be in your seat 30 minutes before kickoff to see all pregame festivities.
Stadium
- Gates open two hours before kickoff.
- Fan Fest opens three hours before kickoff.
- Chant Walk will take place two hours and 30 minutes prior to kickoff.
- A new premium entrance for fans in the West Zone, Loge Boxes, and Fan Zone will be located adjacent to the Wyatt and Stacy Henderson ticket booth near Gate 6 of Brooks Stadium.
- "WaterMonster" hydration refill stations will be located in various areas surrounding Brooks Stadium
- Brooks Stadium will also feature a new video board, new sound boards, and new ribbon boards.
Tickets
- Fans are encouraged to download tickets ahead of time for quicker entrance into the stadium.
- North ticket booth will open four hours piror to kickoff
- Will call will be located in the white tent at Gate 1 and will open two hours before kickoff.
Concessions
- All concession stands will be cashless after Sept. 7.
- Reverse ATMs are in the process of being added to the east and west sides of the stadium.
- New Aramark-branded corrals and a new walk through grab-and-go area will be located near the ramp at the east side of the stadium.
- Cash will be accepted at the registers below on Sept. 7
- The two registers facing the field in the east side concession stand
- Register on the far right in the concession stand inside Gate 6
- Register on the far left in the concession stand inside of Gate 7
- Two registers on the 3rd floor - one on the far left and one on the right.
Entry
- Fans in the West Zone, Loge Boxes, and Fan Zone will be able to enter through the new premium entrance adjacent to the Wyatt and Stacy Henderson ticket booth near Gate 6 of Brooks Stadium.
- All fans who enter through Gate 7 off Hwy. 544 will receive up to 30% off purchases at Teal Nation stores and fans sitting on the west side of the stadium are encouraged to enter through Gate 7.
Parking
- Season parking passes are available here.
- Single-game parking can be purchased at this link.
- Game day parking is available for purchase at lot entrance for GG and HGTC parking only.
- All parking is less than a 20-minute walk from Brooks Stadium
Shuttles
- ADA route will run from Lot DDD (Coastal Science Center) to Gate 4 of Brooks Stadium.
- ADA lots are free with a state-issued ADA placard or tag; the individual assigned the ADA tag must be present in the vehicle in order to gain entrance to the lot.
- ADA lot spaces are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for vehicles with state-issued ADA placards; the individual assigned the ADA tag must be present in the vehicle in order to gain entrance to the lot.
- Additional shuttle routes will run from Lot YY, the student union, and the HGTC to the TD Sports Complex entrance (Chauncey statue).
- All shuttles are ADA accessible.
- Shuttles have limited capacity, so please plan accordingly if you require shuttle transportation.
- Volume of fans requesting shuttle transportation could delay access to the stadium.
Experiences
- Fans will be able to purchase exclusive experiences at upcoming games (photos on the field, being part of the pregame entry, etc.). Be on the lookout for more information via email and Coastal Athletics social media in the next two weeks.
Student Section
- The newly-christened "Conwave" student section will include a DJ, as well as new chants and new touchdown celebrations.
Fans can now directly support Coastal NIL efforts for its athletes at our competition venues, starting this weekend at Brooks Stadium. When fans check out at the concession stands or concession walkthroughs, fans can now make a donation that will go to the Coastal Sports Collective in partnership with the Coastal Athletics Department to help our student-athletes.
