HARRISONBURG, Va. ----- Coastal Carolina men's basketball dropped a 73-64 game to James Madison University on Thursday night inside Atlantic Union Bank Center. The Chanticleers held a one-point lead with 12:33 remaining before the Dukes pushed ahead to secure the tightly-contested competition.
 
With the result, JMU improved to 13-9 (6-4 Sun Belt) while Coastal moved to 8-14 (1-9).
 
Rasheed Jones and Jordan Battle led the way for the Chants as the dynamic duo combined for 34 points. Battle just missed out on a double-double with 17 points and nine rebounds.
 
Second chance points proved to be the difference as JMU outscored CCU, 12-4, in that category.
