Coming off a thrilling run to the 2025 Men's College World Series Final, head coach Kevin Schnall and the Chanticleers will face nine teams that competed in last season's NCAA Division I Baseball Championship. That elite group includes Fairfield, Texas, UTSA, Ole Miss, NC State, East Carolina, Wake Forest, Clemson, and North Carolina.

The Chanticleers open the 2026 season with a three-game home series against Fairfield from Feb. 14-17, a rematch of last year's Conway Regional in which Coastal earned a dominant 10-2 victory over the Stags.

Coastal will then host VCU and Illinois for the annual Baseball at the Beach Tournament from Feb. 20-22, continuing an eight-game homestand to start the year.

From Feb. 27–March 1, the Chanticleers head to Houston, Texas, to compete in the prestigious Astros Foundation College Classic at Daikin Park. There, they'll take on three 2025 NCAA Regional teams: Texas (Feb. 27), UTSA (Feb. 28), and Ole Miss (March 1).

Following a quick road trip to NC State on March 3, the Chants return home for a three-game series with East Carolina (March 6-8) — a rematch of last year's Conway Regional Final, which Coastal won in a dramatic 1-0 showdown.

The home schedule continues with a matchup against Wake Forest on March 10, the first of a home-and-home series. Coastal will travel to Winston-Salem for the return game on April 14.
Sun Belt Conference play begins March 13-15 with a road series at App State. Coastal's first Sun Belt home series will be against James Madison University (March 20-22) at Springs Brooks Stadium.

The Chants will renew their in-state rivalry with Clemson in a home-and-home series. The first meeting is set for March 24 in Clemson, with the return game in Conway scheduled for May 5.

Coastal also travels to Chapel Hill to face North Carolina on Tuesday, April 28, one of several high-profile midweek matchups on the calendar.

The regular season concludes with a Sun Belt road series at Louisiana (May 14-16).

The 2026 Sun Belt Conference Baseball Championship Tournament will once again be held at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery, Ala., from May 19-24.
