CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina volleyball team extended its winning streak to a season-long seven matches with a straight-set sweep (25–19, 25–21, 25–22) over UNCW on Wednesday night at the HTC Center.
The Chanticleers have won 21 of their last 22 sets, including 18 in a row, their longest streak since winning 32 consecutive sets in 2016.
The Chanticleers improved to 14–4 overall while the Seahawks fell to 3–15.
Junior
Jalyn Stout led the Chanticleers with 13 kills, hitting .464 for the match, while adding 13 assists, three digs, and a pair of service aces.
Emily Fowler tallied six kills and four blocks, and
Anzley Rinard chipped in six kills. Setter
Ava Wallis dished out 14 assists to guide the offense, and libero
Bailee Earnhardt anchored the defense with a match-high 13 digs.
The Chanticleers hit .237 as a team and controlled the net with eight total blocks while holding UNCW to a .093 hitting percentage.
Hannah Forbes led UNCW with 11 kills, while Olivia Heidel finished with 10 assists and nine digs.

Set One: Coastal opened the night strong, jumping out to a 6–1 lead in the opening set behind three early kills from
Emma Van Elslande. Stout and Rinard combined for nine kills in the frame as CCU closed it out 25–19.

Set Two: In the second set, Coastal used a balanced attack—five different players recorded kills—to edge the Seahawks 25–21. The Chanticleers hit .333 in the frame, their best of the match.

Set Three: The third set saw Coastal overcome an early deficit with a 6–0 run midway through to take control. Fowler and Stout combined for five late kills as the Chanticleers sealed the sweep 25–22.
NOTES
• Coastal posted its fourth straight win over UNCW and evened the all-time series at 24-24.
• The Chants concluded non-conference play with a record of 8-4, equaling its most non-conference victories since 2022.
• Freshman Kalya Channell made her first career start and finished the match with five kills, four blocks and 7.5 points.

Becca Micelle collected nine digs for the second time in the last six matches.
• Stout finished the match with 993 career kills and is seven shy of becoming the 13th player in school history to reach 1,000.
