Cross Country Competes in Fire Tower Project Run on Friday Night

BOONE, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina cross country team competed in the Fire Tower Project Run hosted by Appalachian State on Friday night with the men placing 6th in the 8k and the women placing 7th in the 6k.
Thomas Nitz led the way on the men's side with a 29th place finish and a time of 25:55.4. Braxton Theel finished 35th in 26:15.6.
Addison Laughlin was the top finisher for the women in 11th at 21:54.7. Olivia Fischlein finished 17th with a time of 22:13.1.

The Chanticleers will set their sights on the Sun Belt Cross Country Championships in Foley, Ala. on Oct. 31.
