Women’s Tennis Adds Two on National Signing Day

CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina women's tennis head coach Catherine Hewitt announced the signing of Floortje Chrisstoffels and Charlotte Vanstone McGrath on National Signing Day.

Floortje began her tennis journey competing for Dvůr Králové Tennis Club, where she helped lead the team to back-to-back regional championships in the U14 and U16 divisions in 2021 and 2022. She later joined DTJ Hradec Králové Tennis Club, capturing three consecutive regional titles in the U18 division and reaching the quarterfinals of the Czech National Championships in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Nationally, Floortje achieved a career-high ranking of No. 32 in the Czech Republic and attained an ITF junior world ranking of 811. On the international stage, she has claimed four ITF J30 doubles titles and one ITF J60 doubles title, while also finishing as the doubles finalist at the 2025 Czech Republic National Championships.

Vanstone McGrath is a six-time state champion in Australia from 2020 to 2025 and earned a 2025 Tennis All-Australian selection. She represented the state of Victoria in the U18 Pizzey Cup Australian Championship in 2025 and received the 2022 Sporting Excellence Award from School Sport Victoria. The Melbourne, Australia, native represented Victoria in the Australian Teams Championships across multiple age groups, including 11/U in 2019, 13/U in 2021, and 15/U in 2023. Notably, she won two qualifying matches to reach the U18 Australian Nationals, ultimately advancing to the final eight of the main draw.
