Football Welcomes Signees on Opening Day of Signing Period

CONWAY, S.C. — Coastal Carolina football announced nine additions to its early 2026 Signing Day class, as of Wednesday evening. The group features talented student-athletes from across the country. The early signing period concludes on Friday, Dec. 5, ahead of National Signing Day on Feb. 4, 2026.

Osiris Lopez, QB — 6-0, 180 lbs
Leominster HS / Leominster, Mass.
A dynamic and versatile athlete, Lopez excelled on both sides of the ball throughout his high school career, starting at safety while emerging as one of Massachusetts' most productive quarterbacks. A gifted creator with his legs who can extend plays and throw from multiple platforms, he showcased his talent on the national stage at the Elite 11 and is widely regarded as a respected leader in his home state. Lopez ran an impressive 4.50 in the 40-yard dash and capped his senior season with 2,500 passing yards and 40 touchdowns, adding 858 rushing yards and eight more scores. A Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year finalist, he graduated as the state's all-time leader in career passing touchdowns with 123.

Jayden Johnson, WR — 6-2, 160 lbs
Texas City HS / Texas City, Texas
A tall, long-framed receiver with smooth change of direction and advanced route-running ability, Johnson brings versatility and big-play potential to the offense. He was a standout on the national 7v7 circuit with RG3 Takeover, showcasing his competitiveness and polish against elite competition. Johnson recorded 25 receptions for 301 yards and five touchdowns as a senior, earning all-district honors. He also excelled in track, posting a 42.83 in the 300m hurdles. He committed to Coastal Carolina during his official visit in June.

Nasir Jones, OL — 6-4, 301 lbs
Rome HS / Cedartown, Ga.
Jones is a long, athletic offensive tackle with impressive traits and rare measurables, including 11.75-inch hands and natural bend that consistently shows up on tape. A multi-year starter for one of Georgia's top high school programs, he anchored a winning offensive line and earned all-district recognition. He committed to Coastal Carolina in June.

Gabe Jones, OL — 6-3, 296 lbs
Luella HS / Locust Grove, Ga.
Jones projects as a future center with the athleticism, physicality, and intelligence needed to thrive inside. A two-way standout in high school, he showcased elite reliability by allowing zero sacks as a senior and earned First Team All-Region honors as a junior. Known for his football IQ, Jones was entrusted with making offensive line calls for his high school offense.

Stephan Aristil, OL — 6-4, 360 lbs
Palmetto HS / Ellenton, Fla.
Aristil brings a massive frame paired with surprising movement skills, natural bend, and strong leadership presence. A dedicated multi-sport athlete who threw the shot put (40'11") and discus (92'09"), he is known for his work ethic—balancing football with a job at Dunkin' Donuts during the season—while playing with passion and relentless effort.

Romello Patterson, LB — 6-2, 212 lbs
West Florence HS / Florence, S.C.
Patterson is a long, athletic linebacker with sideline-to-sideline burst and consistent play speed. His ability to play in space, fit the run, and affect the quarterback makes him an all-around defender. The local product tallied 94 tackles, five sacks, and two interceptions as a senior and is rated a 3-star prospect by multiple media outlets. He committed in June.

Garrett Orgas, LB — 6-4, 197 lbs
Pearl River CC / Warren Central HS / Vicksburg, Miss.
Orgas is a physical, high-energy linebacker who plays with urgency and confidence. A fierce competitor who lines up all over the field, he consistently creates disruption. Ranked the No. 3 JUCO linebacker in the nation, he produced 51 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, an interception, and five pass breakups during the 2025 season.

Zeke Marshall, SAF — 6-4, 185 lbs
Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School / Anderson, S.C.
Marshall is a long, rangy safety with closing burst and the versatility to play multiple roles in the secondary. Bringing a championship mentality to Conway as a two-time state champion, he completed his senior season with 51 tackles, 14 pass breakups, and three interceptions. Marshall is rated as a 3-star prospect.

Michael Knight, CB — 6-2, 170 lbs
Ola HS / McDonough, Ga.
Knight is a long, physical corner with high-end instincts and versatility in coverage. He shows the ability to play anywhere in the secondary. Knight delivered a standout senior season with 38 tackles, three interceptions, two defensive touchdowns, and zero touchdowns allowed, earning First Team All-Region honors. He is rated as a 3-star prospect by multiple outlets.
