STATESBORO, Ga. ---- Coastal Carolina women's basketball earned its fifth-straight win with a 67-56 victory at Georgia Southern on Wednesday night inside the Jack and Ruth Ann Hill Convocation Center. Alancia Ramsey led all scorers with career-high 28 points to help the CCU winning streak continue.
 
With the win, Coastal improved to 18-6 (8-5 Sun Belt) while Georgia Southern dropped to 11-15 (3-10).
 
Ramsey finished the night 9-of-13 from the field and went a perfect 9-for-9 at the free throw.
 
Points off turnovers proved to be a key difference in the game as the Chants turned Georgia Southern's 24 turnovers into 19 points.
 
As a team, CCU finished the night 18-for-18 at the free throw line.
