SPARTANBURG S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team was downed 5-2 by the Wofford Terriers in Spartanburg, S.C., on Friday afternoon. 

• The Chants got off to a strong start, picking up a 6-1 win on doubles court No. 1. However, the Terriers won on courts No. 2 and No. 3 to take the doubles point.
• Katya Hersh leveled the score at 1-1 after a dominant straight sets victory in the number five spot. 
• The Terriers secured the next three points on courts No. 4, No. 2, and No. 3 to win the duel.
• The teams played out the remaining two matches, with Coastal picking up a win on court No. 1, but falling on court No. 6.
