CONWAY,  S.C. — Coastal Carolina lacrosse picked up its first win of 2025 Friday, knocking off Charlotte 19-11 in nonconference action at Brooks Stadium. 

The Chanticleers (1-1) used a run of seven-straight goals in the second quarter to turn a 5-4 Charlotte (1-2) edge into an 11-7 lead for the Chants which they would not let slip away. 

CCU got four goals apiece from Gabrielle Beaudet, Evelyn Kitchin and Alyson Mascolo. Brigid Cardillo added three tallies, Maddie Bates scored twice and Sophie Kingsborough and Sydney McClure had single scores.

Charlotte Sadler made eight saves in goal to pick up the win.  

Coastal returns to action Sunday, taking on Davidson at noon ET inside Brooks Stadium.
