CONWAY, S.C. — Coastal Carolina baseball used a combination of dominant pitching and a 14-hit offensive outburst to defeat Kansas State 9-2 on Monday in the finale of Baseball at the Beach at Springs Brooks Stadium.
The Chanticleers (4-0) took control early, plating two runs in the second inning and adding insurance with a four-run sixth to put the game out of reach.
Ty Barrango delivered the highlight of the night with a solo home run to lead off the big inning, while
Domenico Tozzi paced the offense with three hits, including two doubles, and two RBIs.
