CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team defeated the Campbell Fighting Camels 5-2 on Friday afternoon at the Stevens Tennis Complex.

"It feels great to get the win today," head coach Chris Powers said. "Those guys have had our number lately, and it was great to see the guys get off to a strong start in doubles and then carry that momentum to the clinch point. Today is definitely something to build on going into Tuesday."

Coastal dominated in doubles action, picking up 6-1 and 6-2 wins on courts No. 1 and No. 3, respectively, to secure the doubles point.
Emiliano Gonzalez Balmaceda, Juan Cruz Collardin, and Eric Tripathi won straight-set singles matches to give Coastal the 4-0 lead.
The Chants played out the remaining three singles courts, winning a three-set marathon on court No. 3 but falling on courts No. 2 and No. 5.
CCU is on a three-match win streak.
Coastal will hit the road to take on UNCG in Greensboro, N.C., on Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. ET.
