CLINTON S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team secured its first win of the season against the Presbyterian Blue Hose, 6-1, in Clinton, S.C., on Thursday afternoon.
- Coastal claimed the doubles point, winning matches on courts No. 1 and 3.
- The Chants ran off five singles wins on courts 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 to secure the win.
- Singles action was highlighted by three-set wins in the No. 1, 2, and 6 spots.
- Freshman Brunelle Kouam won both her singles and doubles matches, extending her win streak to four straight victories.
- The Chants will be back in action on Feb. 12 to take on Wofford in Spartanburg, S.C.
