CONWAY ---- Coastal Carolina lacrosse dropped a 13-11 game to William & Mary on Saturday afternoon at Brooks Stadium. The two non-conference foes were tied at eight heading to the final quarter for W&M secured the victory.
William & Mary improved to 1-0 with the result while Coastal moved to 0-1.
Coastal held a 24-17 advantage in shots on goal but it wasn't enough to secure the opening day win.
Brigid Cardillo led CCU with five goals on seven shots with an assist.
