CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team is set to open Sun Belt Conference play as it hosts the South Alabama Jaguars on March 14 at 2 p.m. ET, followed by the Troy Trojans on March 16 at 10 a.m. ET.
Coastal enters the week with a 4-6 overall record. Freshman
Curzio Manucci will look to build on his momentum after being named Sun Belt Player of the Week, going 2-0 in singles play against No. 13 UCF's Nicolas Oliveira and Stetson's Ervin Haris Eminefendic in the No. 4 spot.
The Jaguars enter the match with a 3-9 record and have yet to play a conference match. Coastal will be looking to pick up its first win against South Alabama and improve on its 0-5 record. Sophomore Harold van Raemdonck leads the Jaguars with an 8-1 singles record.
Troy comes into the weekend with a 14-4 record and is riding a nine-match win streak. Coastal owns a 2-6 record against the Trojans and will be looking to snap a three-match losing streak.
