CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina beach volleyball team is gearing up for a weekend of conference competition as the Chanticleers travel to Foley, Ala., for the Sun Belt Mid-Year Tournament on March 28-29. The Chants will face Mercer and ULM on March 28 before taking on Southern Miss and College of Charleston on March 29.
Coastal Carolina enters the week with an 8-10 overall record (2-1 SBC) and looks to snap a two-match losing streak.

WEEKEND OPPONENTS
ULM

• Coastal has a 4-0 record against ULM.
• In their last meeting on Feb. 22, the Chanticleers earned a 4-1 win over the Warhawks.
• ULM holds a 7-9 record this season and won its conference opener to start Sun Belt play 1-0.

MERCER

• The Chants own a 12-6 all-time record against the Bears.
• Coastal is on a 12-game win streak in the series.
• This will be the 19th meeting between CCU and Mercer.
• Mercer enters the weekend with a 14-6 record and a 1-1 mark in conference play.

SOUTHERN MISS

• The Sandy Chants are unbeaten (7-0) against the Golden Eagles.
• Southern Miss has an 8-12 overall record and a 2-2 conference record.

COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON

• Coastal holds a 9-8 all-time record against College of Charleston.
• The Chanticleers will look to build on their momentum after defeating the Cougars 4-1 earlier this season (March 15).
• College of Charleston enters the weekend with a 5-10 overall record and is 0-7 in conference play.
