CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team fell 4-2 to Troy on Friday morning at the Stevens Tennis Complex.
- The Chanticleers took an early 1-0 lead, securing two 6-2 victories on courts one and three to claim the doubles point.
- Senior Anna Babayan made quick work of Troy's Gabrielle Leslie on court one, earning a 6-1, 6-2 victory to extend the lead to 2-0.
- However, the Trojans rallied, picking up straight-set singles wins on courts two, six, and three before clinching the match in a three-set battle on court four for the 4-2 victory.
- Coastal Carolina will return to action on March 30 at 11:30 a.m. ET to face Georgia State.
