NEW ORLEANS – Coastal Carolina's
Caden Bodine was named Sun Belt Player of the Week, presented by BankPlus, the league office announced Tuesday.
Bodine hit .438 (7-for-16) and slugged .750, as Coastal Carolina posted a 4-0 week to improve to 10-2 on the season. The Haddon Heights, N.J., product accumulated six runs scored and six RBI, headlined by a walk-off blast in Saturday's 6-5 victory over Rutgers to secure the series win. Bodine led Coastal Carolina to a mid-week win over UNCW and a three-game series sweep of the Scarlet Knights, with at least one hit and at least one run scored in all four contests.

Coastal heads out on the road for a four-game stretch, beginning with a matchup at North Carolina on Tuesday before a weekend series at East Carolina. Tuesday's game starts at 4 p.m. ET while the Friday-Sunday matchups will begin at 4 p.m., 2 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.
