CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team shut out Texas State 4-0 on Sunday morning at the Stevens Tennis Complex.
- The Chanticleers took an early 1-0 lead after securing doubles victories on courts No. 1 and No. 2. Coastal then dominated in singles play, earning straight-set wins on courts No. 1, 3, and 6 to clinch the match.
- Aida Mitrache and Katya Hersh were leading on courts No. 2 and 5, respectively, before play was halted.
- With the win, Coastal improved to 7-3 overall and 2-0 in Sun Belt Conference action.
- The Chanticleers will return to the court on March 11 to take on the UNCG Spartans at 1 p.m. ET
